Portantia Technologies
We carry the load

You didn't start a business to do data entry.

We build the systems that handle the repetitive work, and then we run them for you. Nothing to learn. Nothing new for your team to log into.

The actual problem

The work isn't hard. There's just nobody left to do it.

Every business under about fifty people runs on the same few people doing the same few things by hand, every day, forever. It isn't a technology problem. It's that nobody has a free afternoon to fix it.

One

Your best person is your bottleneck

The one who knows how it all works is the one who can't take a vacation. Every exception routes through them, and they're doing it at 9 PM.

Two

You find out too late

The software you already pay for knows what happened yesterday. It just won't tell you unless somebody logs in, pulls it, and formats it.

Three

You've been sold tools, not answers

Another subscription, another login, another thing nobody's been trained on. The work didn't go away. It moved.

How this works

Four steps, and the first one is just a conversation.

Each step depends on the one before it. Most clients have something running in production inside three weeks.

1

We walk the work with you

An hour, on a call or in your office. We're not looking at your org chart. We're looking at what somebody re-types, re-sends, or re-formats every single day.

2

We pick one thing

Not a transformation. One job, with a clear before and after, that pays for itself fast enough that you'd do the second one without thinking about it.

3

We build it and install it

It plugs into what you already have. Your email, your field software, your accounting. Your team keeps working exactly the way they work now.

4

We keep it running

Software breaks. Vendors change their forms. Somebody adds a region. That's ours to fix, not yours. It's what the monthly fee is for.

Most of what gets sold as "AI for small business" is a chatbot bolted onto a login screen. The useful version is boring. Something reads the email, files the document, updates the sheet, and sends you the number. You never see it. That's the point.
